Assuming You already Have

PriceIt Networked in your shop using FileMaker

1 Time Setup STUFF

1. Get the IP Address of your main computer (click start, run, type in command, now in the dos prompt type in ipconfig make a note of just the ip address this should be something like 192.168.1.143 type exit then hit the enter key)
2. Get the IP Address of your Router (go to whatsmyip.org make note of your ip address)
3. Port forwarding for Linksys Routers (log in to your router using internet explorer  http://192.168.1.1 the default user name and password is admin
4. Click Advanced then Forwarding port 5003 to 5003 the screen should look something like this ------>>>>>>> Also enter in the IP Address of your main Computer
5. Install FileMaker on your out of office computer.
6. Now on your out of office computer install for PC PriceIt Remote   Mac unzip to your desktop
Now Your Ready To Rock in Roll
Start FileMaker click file>open remote> in this new screen click on view set it to Favorite Hosts, now click on Add in the Hosts Internet Address field type in the IP Address to the shops router click save. The Mydata.pit file should appear in the right column select it then open.
