Ipad Instructions

with Wi-Fi or 3G Connection

   1. Install Filemaker 8.5 or higher on the main computer (this will allow networking of PriceIt on PC's / Mac's and the Ipad)

   2. Find the ip address of this computer and write it down. (A Static IP is highly recommended)

   3. Find you internet IP address www.whatismyip.com and write it down.

Port Forwarding so you can see PriceIt outside your local area network

   1. login into you router (every router is different so do some web searching as to how to do this)

   2. Forward port 5003 to the main computers ip address 

On The Ipad

   1. Install Filemaker Go on the Ipad then start it.

   2. Type in your shop's ip address from step 3

Security

   You should change PriceIt's default password from admin to something else

   1. from the order entry screen click on file from the menu bar click change password

the default password is admin
